Make sure the provider has the appropriate equipment setup. Many people believe that green screen is simply putting up a green cloth in the background and then removing the individual. In fact, having access to a green screen/cloth/background is only one aspect of the formula. To ensure that the quality is as good as possible, you’ll need enough and even illumination. You’ll need a wide area with numerous camera perspectives in order to accommodate the many participants. Choose a company with a solid track record, expertise, and the ability to deliver high-quality webinars.

What is your experience with 3d virtual studio?

The driving force is demand and supply. We were one of the first businesses in Singapore to start utilizing 3D. Clients soon learned about our unique production process, which caused many clients to convert from conventional films into 3D. It’s not just consistent with the brand, it also represents something larger; which is that they’re improving their production quality and increased demand. We moved our previous office/studio to a much bigger green screen studio, and demand has risen while quality has improved. We currently have two 60 square meter green screens in operation. Each green screen features three to six cameras, including both tracking cameras and static cameras. Green screen productions of this sort are the ones we offer to clients.

What are some of the obstacles you’ve faced while starting and running your company?

It’s one thing to have technical expertise. However, being able to market your services to the market is another story. We’ve done a lot of green screen videos that have really helped us develop a lot of skills. I can honestly say that we are very competent in these projects. In actuality, we are one of Singapore’s top three 3D producers. What we need to do now is to be able to market our services. One approach to advertise our services is to speak with a lot of event planners. As a result of our collaboration, we have attracted several international event suppliers as partners. The issue is connecting with event companies.

So, have you run into any difficulties?

I believe that marketing and outreach are the most difficult tasks now. During COVID, we’re only allowed to operate our business in Singapore. So, once we’re looking to boundaries being opened, the next issue is how can we market our services outside of Singapore.

Do you feel that this business will be your lifelong?

Yes, with this knowledge of 3D virtual production, we’ve only scratched the surface. We’re moving into short-form film creation with Unreal Engine, which will be our next step. We’d like to become a supplier for other film production businesses as well as continue providing webinars and conferences. We’re able to develop a virtual gaffer and a camera tracking system studio with Unreal Engine. This will allow us to work as an Unreal Engine Studio, which means we can provide a virtual gaffer and camera tracking system development services. We will solely offer technical assistance for Unreal Engine.

What kind of results have you gotten from utilizing a 3D virtual production package in your marketing videos?

According to the outcomes, viewers are more drawn to a high production quality that can only be achieved via 3D virtual productions. Traditionally, 3D films have been produced post-production, which means the talent or actor is generally filmed in front of a green screen. Then at post-productions, they actually key out the subject in the background. In a 3D virtual production/or live production, the results are recorded in real time, so we key out the person live and they are really immersed in the 3D virtual world. The entire production is carried out in real time. These are all live events. We simply call cut and wrap up when we’re done; the video is already there. All we have to do now is polish it up by color grading to make it more visually appealing. The result is that a lot of clients felt the experience was more immersive. They can observe the outcomes. Actors or presenters may interact with virtual objects in the game. He is immediately able to see himself in the virtual world via the confidence monitor. There’s a confidence monitor that displays where he’s standing and where the virtual items are, allowing him to virtually reach out and touch them. The ultimate consequence is a high immersive film that may create a realistic ambiance while also speeding up production time.

We provide a dry rental, which means you only pay for the space and our services. So the range is between $1,500 and $15,000. The variety is rather broad. It’s determined by the client’s needs.

What type of tools do you have in your facility?

We use Unreal Engine workstations to create the 3D visuals. We also utilize Visual Projection Software to produce and publish/push the video in the Unreal Engine. We have 6 cameras, so we may provide a variety of perspectives, from close-ups to wide views. We have three checking cameras that feed the Unreal Engine with camera position information, so when we pan or zoom in the camera, the background will respond and move appropriately. We employ expert sound mixers to assure high-quality audio. To guarantee that the entire studio is well-illuminated and that the important conclusions are enhanced, we’re using studio lighting.

How long can I rent the studio for? Is there a certain amount of time that I must book the studio for?

The minimum booking length is 1 day.

What steps can you take to guarantee your live stream goes off without a hitch? What is the most crucial thing to consider?

Because the internet connection is the weakest link, what we do to overcome it is inside the studio. We have two separate internet networks and providers: Starhub and Singtel. Our firewall, on the other hand, is programmed for immediate failover, so if something goes wrong with our primary internet service provider (Singtel), our firewall will switch to Starhub in 3 seconds. This occurs within the studio itself. To ensure that our cloud streaming runs smoothly, we invested in firewalls from two providers as well as a backup provider. When we do projects outside the studio, we also invested in pricey industrial modems like Cradlepoint, which has already been used to distribute load. We have four sim cards installed within this Cradlepoint. We’re not utilizing consumer sim cards; instead, we’re using M2M sim cards designed for businesses. The sort of sim cards that are utilized on ATM machines to host connections will provide us with consistency and redundancy when it comes to delivering the stream to the cloud.

How do you believe live streaming services will develop in the next several years?

After COVID, live streaming will be the norm. COVID pushed the world or forced countries to adapt live streaming in events and townhalls. And even when we have borders opening and real-world events returning to the picture, clients are still using live streaming to convey a message. They realized that, if they spent too much money on a real-world event, they might as well broadcast it to the whole planet. In the future, we’ve seen an increase in demand to watch live streaming. The standard of live streaming will improve with time, incorporating other technologies such as augmented reality, teleportation, virtual reality, and metahuman. All of these will be more visible in the years ahead of us.

What is the most popular event you’ve ever hosted?

Internal so-called information dissemination are frequently townhalls. I should point out that 70% of my works are for townhalls.

Is there anything regarding Singapore that you’d want to highlight?

No.

Do you have any plans to expand into mainland China?

I don’t have any specific country in mind, but we need to expand our services outside Singapore because demand for 3D productions is growing but the skillsets available on the market are not adequate to meet the demand. As a result, we’ll be increasing our manpower or human resources to meet the needs. Within this area, I am sure that there will be a huge demand for this product.
